Garageland Reserrected #13 with) Dennis Lyxzén (Refused), Brett Marshall (Mightiest Of Guns) and ED (CUT)

Sick week in the studio as per usual. Had a blast having a chat to Brett from Mightiest of Guns and Ed from CUT- Ed's been away living in Germany for three years so good to have him back in town. They had a good old chin wag about the gig they had coming up at the Old Bar last Thursday- from all reports it was a cracker.

I had Dennis Lyxen from the Refused come in for a chat about the shows that the band had coming up at The Prince. The Shape Of Punk To Come was one of my favourite records growing up so the interview was a total honour... They still got it. He was a super nice chap and I enjoyed the chat about punk rock, art and of course fucking the man and his dollar- always love slipping that in. (-: The interview is in the last 20 mins of the show if anyone is listening back.

Also had a bit of a femo anti Trump bracket....that bloke is a total toss pot and his cabinet... Enjoying all the solidarity in the protests and the sisterhood + our beautiful brothers standing up for what is right in the world.... the revolution of love..xx

This is a little song I wrote for Bumpy, Lumpy, Orange Trumpy

Super, super stoked that Brant Bjork is coming back into town with the most deadly stoner rock riffs..... for the Negative Waves festival coming up in Geelong at the Barwon Club, May 6th. YESSS>>>> Sickest line up as well.

The Dacios were the pick of the bunch at New Years Evie Over New Years. Linda is a full rock and roll powerhouse. She was sporting the sickest pink onesy.

Bitch Diesel 2016: The Witches That Changed My Llife

2016 was a massive year. Brutal, yet totally rewarding.

Someone asked me what the best thing about 2016 was and it was without a doubt joining Bitch Diesel and getting my radio show Garageland back.

Meeting these three beautiful and witches has been a hilarious and entertaining journey. I've been playing in bands since I was 14 and never have I felt more connected, free and musically stimulated than with Phoebe Taylor (The Silver Skidmark), Ashlee Pierce (The Charger) and Rhia Taranto (The Falcon.) A huge thanks to our cosmic brother/ husband Darren Cordeux for making us sound so great this year and for his musical support and talent. I can't wait to put all of our new tunes onto vinyl next year.
You can hear our new releases from this year on our bandcamp.

These legends had my back all the way through my journey in the psych ward (I even missed the first two gigs) and they put up with me for the rest of my saturn return. So happy to be on the other side of that epic journey. I'm hoping 2017 takes it a little easier on me.

Here are some of my favourite pics with Bitch Diesel from 2016 during our week away recording in Lake Eildon.
