She's a gypsy princess you can't lock her down. At the moment she is rocking out doing some dream job in Antwerp, Belgium.

We met when I was doing my RSA and we were both working at Cherry Bar... we started at around the same time, and as you know, no one is nice to the new kids.

I got so drunk that I couldn't fill in the paperwork... so she is pretty much the reason I have my RSA.

Then we had dinner afterwards... and then we did a runner because we were to poor to pay for it.
I sang the Clash the whole way home.

We've been best mates ever since.

The lady who you have been hearing is the wonderful Miss Emily Dawson. Not only does she have an epic taste in music but she likes to party, can make a mean cocktail, cook a sweet feed, shred on guitar, skateboard and surf... plus she's finishing her degree in Australian Indigenous studies at Monash. A massive dream boat. 

She has a heart of gold. I bumped into her by a complete randomness in my semester away studying in Utrecht, Netherlands. It's like she's a friend from another lifetime.

Personally I like a mix of the two... but it is a love/ hate relationship for me to.

Ruby Soho became established after I heard "Ruby Soho" by my favorite band Rancid.
I invented her so I could cope with my anger and ADD issues. Lol. I think it has been beneficial for my family in friends as I only put Ruby Soho on when fellow punk rockers are around.

I hope one day I get to meet the real her... she sounds totally rad.

Northcote High "Noon" Vibes Festival

So went down to the revamped version of the Northcote High Vibes Festival on Sunday and it was very damn rad indeed.

So pretty much they have stopped all advertising because two years back it got a bit messy. The police were involved so having young guys on power trips that have been told a bunch of rules, well that doesn't mix well with a bunch of punk rockers unfortunately.

On Sunday my friends had to pull a drunk and orderly Miss Soho from starting a beef with the cops for drinking in public. The guys were nice enough, they didn't like me standing up to them though as no man likes a smart ass little bitch.

Either way it was awesome. So many amazing bands, rad little punk rock kids (they drew me some pretty pictures in charcoal) great artwork, great beer and most importantly rad peeps!!

These guys were my favorite band for sure. A great mosh pit, awesome crowd, sick ass beats.
