Garageland 18/1/2012: Special Guests Foxtrot, The Smith Street Band and Ginger Mudcat

I had a damn fine night of radio. Besides a few glitches with the computers and the reason that I am a total spastic things were amazing. Thanks Josh and Tyler from Foxtrot for a great interview, and Chris from the Smith Street Band, what lovely young men. A special mention to the beautiful Ginger Mudcat who not only brought me freddos, but made me dance with her great tunes.

Ruby Soho interviews J Mascis

SOOOOOOO... I rock up to PBS to grab something from my locker. And Mara comes up to me and says
"Ruby do you want to interview J Mascis in an hour?"

Well my obvious reaction is "yes" because the dude is one of my guitar/ rad dude heroes and what not. Plus I'm taking pills to stop me from saying yes to things, but they don't seem to work when really awesome things occur.

Any way it was rough as balls, terrifying and amazing all at the same time.

If you are interested you can listen back to it from this web address:

His new album is rad, if you have some cashola in your purse I suggest you go buy a copy.

Garageland 28/12/2011 Special Guest: Peter Koppes from The Church

So all in all a damn fun night of radio. I pre recorded the interview with Peter Koppes that interview that arvo, a bit unprepared. Story of my life, going into things like a bull in a china shop. But he was a total legend and I particularly like the end where he started rambling on about the revolution. You can listen back to the show from this web address:
